Stir-fried Beef Fillet with Herbal XO Sauce

Beef fillet/tenderloin 350 g [cut into strips]
Fresh black mushrooms 6 pcs [cut into strips]
Courgette 1 pc [cut into strips]
Bell pepper (s) 1/2 pc [Red, cut into strips]
XO Sauce(Regular) 3 tsp
Freshly Minced Garlic Tael [a little ]


Premium Oyster Sauce 1/3 tsp
Premium Light Soy Sauce 1/5 tsp
Corn starch 1 1/2 tsp
Sugar a little
Oil a little
Premium Oyster Sauce 1 tsp
Chicken Bouillon Powder 1/3 tsp
Premium Dark Soy Sauce 1/4 tsp
Corn starch and water solution 4 tbsp
Chinese herbal sauce 1 tsp
Sugar 1/3 tsp
Salt 2/5 tsp
Chicken Bouillon Powder adequate amount
Salt adequate amount
Water adequate amount

  1. Marinate beef strips for a short while.  Set aside.  Chop the ingredients of Chinese herbal sauce and mix.(Do not use electric blender.) Stir-fry the ingredients in 6 tbsp olive oil to make the Chinese herbal sauce. Reserve 1 tsp for the seasoning mix.
  2. Cook jade melon and fresh black mushrooms in chicken stock for a short while until flavor absorbs.  Drain.
  3. Stir-fry beef until done. Drain. Saute Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic in a little olive oil.  Add Lee Kum Kee XO Sauce and fry for a short while.  Add jade melon, fresh black mushrooms and beef fillet.  Stir in seasoning mix and fry until heated through.  Put on a serving plate.
