King Prawn Noodles in Soup Kung Po Style

Egg noodles 120 g [or raw noodles, 2pcs]
Prawns 250 g [meat, deveined and kept tails]
Water chestnuts 4 pcs [diced]
Bell pepper (s) 1/2 pc [Green, diced]
Bell pepper (s) 1/2 pc [Red, diced]
Cooking wine 1 tsp [optioal]


Pure Sesame Oil 1/2 tbsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Corn starch 1/4 tsp
Pepper 1/4 tsp
Chili Garlic Sauce 2 tsp
Sugar 1/4 tsp
Premium Light Soy Sauce 2 tsp
Water 3 tbsp
Corn starch 1/2 tsp
Chicken Bouillon Powder 4 tsp
Hot water 1 L

  1. Mix prawns with marinade.
  2. Cook noodles in boiling water according to packet instruction or until tender.  Drain.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil.  Stir-fry water chestnuts, green and red bell pepper for a while.  Add prawns and stir-fry until done. Sprinkle with wine.  Pour in seasoning mix and stir-fry until the sauce nearly dries up.
  4. Put noodles onto serving bowls.  Pour over boiling chicken stock.Top with (3).
